Tahleia Brae was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained left and right deltoid soreness, left and right trapezius soreness, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Toss The Dice was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained left and right deltoid soreness, left and right trapezius soreness and a left triangle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr D. Crawford the trainer of Toss The Dice regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn.  Mr Crawford informed Stewards that he would be spelling the greyhound.

Track Curator Brett Skurrie advised stewards that the track was medium harrowed on 5 February 2017.

Garick Olivander was a late scratching at 12:20pm due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Hogwarts Express was slow to begin.

Stewards spoke to Mr R. Keating the trainer of Wadelock Sampson regarding the racing performance. Mr Keating presented the muzzle at the conclusion of the event showing that the muzzle was broken. Wadelock Sampson was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards noted Mr Keating’s explanation.
