Steward's Report

Pursuant to GAR 104(7) steward Mr P. Zucca did not act in any official capacity for this event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Rocky Ravioli.

May Haze and Werner Bale were slow to begin.

Glenda Kingy and Ready And Armed collided soon after the start. Glenda Kingy and Dyna Yami collided soon after the start.  Dyna Yami and Rocky Ravioli collided approaching the first turn.  Werner Bale and May Haze collided approaching the first turn checking May Haze and Dyna Yami.  Rocky Ravioli and May Haze collided on the second turn.  Wadelock Sampson and Ready And Armed collided on the third turn checking Werner Bale.  Dyna Yami checked off Rocky Ravioli on the third turn.  May Haze, Wadelock Sampson and Ready And Armed collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr R. Keating the trainer of Wadelock Sampson regarding the racing performance. Mr Keating presented the muzzle at the conclusion of the event showing that the muzzle was broken. Wadelock Sampson was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards noted Mr Keating’s explanation.
