Steward's Report
Ms. K. Ryan, trainer of Caidan Marlo declared a new weight of 30.0 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Caidan Marlo last raced at 28.6 kgs.
Caidan Marlo was quick to begin. Sergeant Schultz was very slow to begin (4 lengths). Pearson Pride checked off Margolis soon after the start causing Pearson Pride to stumble. Pinky Tuscadero and Loaded collided approaching the first turn checking Loaded. Loaded and Pearson Pride collided on the first turn checking Pearson Pride. Caidan Marlo and Champagne Papi collided on the first turn checking Caidan Marlo and Our Echo Rose. Sergeant Schultz and Pearson Pride raced wide in the home straight.
Pearson Pride was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left dorsal paw, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
