Steward's Report
Double Explosion was slow to begin. Double Explosion checked off Ima Rockstar approaching the first turn. Dyna Eroll, Loch Tight, Kiss Me Marday and Dyna Benny collided on the first turn, checking Loch Tight and Kiss Me Marday. Ima Rockstar and Loch Tight collided approaching the home turn. Dyna Eroll eased approaching the home turn, raced wide, and collided with Da Bont. Dyna Eroll marred the running of Da Bont entering the home straight, severely checking Da Bont. Loch Tight and Ima Rockstar collided entering the home straight, checking Ima Rockstar.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Collins, the representative of the greyhound Dyna Eroll regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Dyna Eroll was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Dyna Eroll with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Collins pleaded guilty to the charge, Dyna Eroll was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
