Trew Danger checked off Dum Didee Dum on the first turn, and collided with Dyna Diedre. Cruisy's Angle raced wide on the first turn. Outta Ammo checked off Trew Danger on the home turn. Outta Ammo raced wide entering the home straight. 

Blackpool Doc, which performed below market expectations was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right pencil and right triangle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

Dyna Worker was slow to begin. Succession Plan and Kiss Me Nicki collided soon after the start, checking Kiss Me Nicki. Loch Eddie, Fab Dream, Bolt Power and Dorrigo Bale collided soon after the start, checking Bolt Power, Dorrigo Bale and Fab Dream. Dyna Alley and Succession Plan collided soon after the start, checking Succession Plan. Bolt Power checked off Dorrigo Bale on the first turn. Dyna Alley checked off Dorrigo Bale approaching the home turn. Kiss Me Nicki checked off Fab Dream on the home turn.

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Prince Mikado, engaged in this event on 1 February 2018 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Prince Mikado was slow to begin. Ronray Legend, Slingshot Storm, Dyna Hendry and Prince Mikado collided soon after the start. Dyna Hendry checked off Prince Mikado approaching the first turn. Huge Allen and Prince Mikado collided on the first turn, checking Huge Allen and Dyna Alistair. Ronray Legend checked off Slingshot Storm approaching the home turn. Huge Allen, Prince Mikado and Ronray Legend collided approaching the home turn.

Double Explosion was slow to begin. Double Explosion checked off Ima Rockstar approaching the first turn. Dyna Eroll, Loch Tight, Kiss Me Marday and Dyna Benny collided on the first turn, checking Loch Tight and Kiss Me Marday. Ima Rockstar and Loch Tight collided approaching the home turn. Dyna Eroll eased approaching the home turn, raced wide, and collided with Da Bont. Dyna Eroll marred the running of Da Bont entering the home straight, severely checking Da Bont. Loch Tight and Ima Rockstar collided entering the home straight, checking Ima Rockstar.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Collins, the representative of the greyhound Dyna Eroll regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn.  Dyna Eroll was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Dyna Eroll with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Collins pleaded guilty to the charge, Dyna Eroll was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Snap Loch was a late scratching at 9:04pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a laceration to the outer left hind toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Blue Hunter was quick to begin. Zambora Tyler and Magic Vogue collided soon after the start, checking Zambora Tyler. Magic Vogue and Taylor Bale collided approaching the first turn. Go Son checked of Louie Allen on the first turn. Mepunga Nyssa faltered approaching the home turn. Louie Allen and Zambora Tyler collided approaching the home turn. Zambora Tyler and Magic Vogue collided on the home turn.

Mepunga Nyssa was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

He's Loaded was quick to begin. Ready And Armed and Bad Apple collided soon after the start. Meehan Dan and Possibly collided approaching the first turn, checking Possibly. Dyna Denver and Bad Apple collided approaching the home turn. 

A pre race sample was taken from Monkey Mite.

Gomez Sanchez and Destini Echo were quick to begin. Dyna Owen and Not Loitering collided soon afte the start. Cruising Stella and Calabrese Bullet collided approaching the first turn. Monkey Mite contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost considerable ground as a result. Gomez Sanchez and Destini Echo collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Gomez Sanchez and causing High Water, and  Cruising Stella to fall. Monkey Mite which was following the field from earlier interference hesitated momentarily To avoid the fallen dogs. Stewards felt that this incident contribulated directly to Monkey Mite at this stage of the race. In view of this this, a charge of failing to chase was not preferred by the stewards due to the circumstances and took no further action.

Gomez Sanchez was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Monkey Mite was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Cruising Stella was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

High Water was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right quadriceps, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr J.Britton, the trainer of Our Turbo Boy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Our Turbo Boy last raced on 28 September 2017. Mr Britton stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a right back muscle injury.

Our Turbo Boy was slow to begin. Pomp Fiction, Our Turbo Boy and Zahra Bella collided soon after the start, checking Our Turbo Boy. Zahra Bella and Pomp Fiction collided approaching the first turn. Trov's Gem galloped on the heels of Zahra Bella on the first turn, checking Zahra Bella, Trov's Gem and Lektra Blicavs. Destini Pegasus and Our Turbo Boy collided in the home straight. 

Trov's Gem was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left achilles, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Lady Mikado engaged in this event on 1 February 2018 pursuant to GAR 79A

A pre race sample was taken from Winlock Casper.

Rellim Diesel was slow to begin. Dude Abides, Rido's Ace, Lady Mikado and Winlock Casper collided soon after the start, checking Rido's Ace. Harvey Mills and Destini Trucker collided approaching the first turn. Dude Abides, Lady Mikado and Winlock Casper collided on the first turn, checking Lady Mikado and Rellim Diesel, and severely checking Winlock Casper, which fell as a result. Rido's Ace and Lady Mikado collided approaching the home turn. 

Winlock Casper was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left wrist and left quadriceps, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
