Steward's Report
Pesty Pyper was quick to begin. Miss Premier was slow to begin.
Spritely Malibu crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Calabrese Bullet and severely checking Pesty Pyper which contacted the running rail and collided with Banjo Moment, Calabrese Bullet, Emma's Sparrow and Gin Lee's Bullet, severely checking all four greyhounds and causing Pesty Pyper to falter and fail to finish.
Pesty Pyper was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a carpal sprain to the right wrist and an injury to the left long head triceps (monkey) muscle. A 14-day stand down period was imposed.
