Counting Pennies was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Menzali, Metallic Zip and Gordette were quick to begin and collided soon after the start.  Precious Destini and Noosa Parade were slow to begin.  Menzali and Crump's Princess collided on the first turn, checking Crump's Princess.  Metallic Zip and Dodge An' Steele collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Metallic Zip checked off Noosa Parade approaching the home turn.  Dodge An' Steele checked off Metallic Zip on the home turn.  Dodge An' Steele stumbled entering the home straight and collided with Metallic Zip.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Pursell, the representative of My Girl Lava, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. My Girl Lava last raced on 17/12/17. Mr. Pursell stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left hind toe injury.

Bar King Buddy and Silvio Dante were slow to begin.  Silvio Dante and My Girl Lava collided approaching the first turn, checking My Girl Lava.  Miss Judge and Bobby's Baby collided on the first turn.  Bobby's Baby and Silvio Dante raced wide on the first turn.  Bar King Buddy checked off Free Auto on the second turn.  Ice Cold Yug tired over the concluding stages of the event.  Bobby's Baby and Silvio Dante collided approaching the winning post.

Ice Cold Yug was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Willcocks, representative of the greyhound Ice Cold Yug, in relation to the greyhound's performance. Mr. Willcocks stated that the greyhound had previously raced and trialled over 520m, howver had not raced before at this track and in his opinion would take experience from tonight's event. Stewards noted the explanation, and while the greyhound tired over the concluding stages, Stewards did not feel the performance warranted a satisfactory trial under GAR 71.

Bobby's Baby was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound cramped and sustained spike wounds to the left hind leg.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to N Kosky, the representative of the greyhound Bobby's Baby.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

A sample was taken from Hasten Slowly - the winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Hamilton, the representative of Eddie Eagle, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Eddie Eagle last raced on 14/12/17. Mr. Hamilton stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a back muscle injury.

Succession Plan was quick to begin.  Gregorovitch and Spudtacular were slow to begin.  Eddie Eagle and Succession Plan collided approaching the first turn, checking Eddie Eagle.  Spudtacular and Succession Plan collided on the first turn, checking Succession Plan.  Succession Plan raced wide in the home straight.

Paranoia and Mystery Ride were slow to begin.  Kiowa Jones and Lektra Blicavs collided soon after the start, checking Lektra Blicavs.  Daryl Dixon, Kiowa Hones and Lektra Blicavs collided approaching the first turn, checking Kiowa Jones.  Paranoia checked off Jailor Bale on the home turn.  Lektra Blicavs raced wide entering the home straight.  Lektra Blicavs faltered in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to H Wilkinson, the representative of the greyhound Lektra Blicavs.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Miss Pepperjack was a late scratching at 11.51am due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
