Aeroplane Bella, Cranberry Miss, Alonso Power and Royal Order were slow to begin.  Royal Order and Little Tonka collided soon after the start checking Royal Order.  Cranberry Miss checked off Harper's Hand approaching the first turn.  Aeroplane Bella galloped on the heels of Cranberry Miss on the first turn, severely checking Cranberry Miss.  Little Tonka checked off Dewana Sprite on the first turn.  Goldielocks Rose clipped the heels of Alonso Power on the first turn checking Goldielocks Rose.

Stewards spoke to Miss V. Wisener, the trainer of Rattlesnake Cafe regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Rattlesnake Cafe last raced on 29th October, 2017.  Miss Wisener stated that the greyhound had been in season.

Rattlesnake Cafe and Why Not Cory were slow to begin.  Why Not Cory and Von Magic collided soon after the start.  Caidan Marlo and Nitro Hook collided approaching the first turn checking Caidan Marlo.  Hardaway Outlaw, Von Magic and Nitro Hook collided on the first turn checking Nitro Hook and Von Magic.  Von Magic galloped on the heels of Rattlesnake Cafe on the home turn causing Rattlesnake Cafe to race wide, checking Goorawin and Rattlesnake Cafe.

Ava's Dream, Akina Blitz and Grand Devinci were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking Akina Blitz.  Ava's Dream and Grand Devinci collided approaching the first turn.  Ava's Dream and Grand Devinci collided on the first turn checking Dr. Yuki and Grand Devinci.  Misty's Boy and Ohana Sparkles collided on the second turn.  Ava's Dream and Akina Blitz collided on the second turn.  Grand Devinci checked off Akina Blitz on the second turn.  Beanology and Wilburn collided in the back straight.  Ava's Dream and Dr. Yuki collided in the home straight.

Beanology was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right back muscle and left pencil muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Handler of Tat Tubby declared a new weight of 31.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Tat Tubby  last raced at 32.2kg.

Tat Tubby, Full Tilt and Fourth Dimention were quick to begin.  Where's Lachie was slow to begin.  Joyous Jill, Denny Blue and Drama Club collided soon after the start checking Denny Blue.  Where's Lachie, Tahlia's Diamond and Joyous Jill collided approaching the first turn.  Joyous Jill and Tahlia's Diamond collided on the first turn.  Tat Tubby and Drama Club collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Tahlia's Diamond checked off Drama Club on the first turn checking Joyous Jill.

Runnin' On Fire was slow to begin.  Ruby's Image and Marcello collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Ruby's Image which lost considerable ground and subsequently tailed off.  He's Okay, Marcello and Nicky Neo collided approaching the first turn checking Nicky Neo.  Runnin' On Fire and Nicky Neo collided on the third turn.  Slippery Sam and He's Okay collided in the home straight.  Runnin' On Fire, He's Okay and Slippery Sam collided approaching the winning post.

Ruby's Image was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Nash Road Betty was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 12.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr S. Whyte, Trainer of the greyhound. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Nash Road Betty with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Whyte pleaded not guilty to the charge, Nash Road Betty was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
