Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Jake Collins representative of Zipping Bronze regarding the length of time the greyhound had between races. Zipping Bronze last raced on 9 Dec 2017. Mr Collins stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injury to both stoppers.
A pre race sample was taken from Ecclefechan.
Parsnip was slow to begin. Ecclefechan, Zipping Bronze and Bronelly Spike collided soon after the start. Ecclefechan and Very Venom collided approaching the first turn, checking Very Venom and Zipping Bronze. Bronelly Spike checked off Very Venom on the first turn, causing Parsnip and Bronelly Spike to race wide. Ecclefechan checked off Shannah's Gift approaching the home turn. Very Venom checked off Ecclefechan on the home turn, checking Parsnip. Ecclefechan and Very Vernom tired in the home straight.
