Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr N.Tait, the trainer of Claretown Happy, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Clairetown Happy last raced on 8 January, 2018. Mr Tait stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being seasonal.
Latissimus Dorsi was slow to begin. Tashendo and Latissimus Dorsi collided approaching the first turn. Claretown Happy, Tashendo, Latissimus Dorsi, Good Boy Oscar and See Ya Mate collided on the first turn checking Tashendo, Latissimus Dorsi and Ferno The Nando. Claretown Happy, Good Boy Oscar and See Ya Mate collided approaching the home turn. Good Boy Oscar and See Ya Mate collided entering the home straight and in the home straight. Claretown Happy raced wide in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr D. Carswell, Trainer of Good Boy Oscar, regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound. Stewards directed that Good Boy Oscar be boxed first in future events.
