Steward's Report
Almani Tee Rex and Micro Midgee collided soon after the start. Tiger Minstrel crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Karaka. Almani Tee Rex checked off Micro Midgee at the 300m mark. Karaka and Tiger Minstrel collided several times from the 300m mark to the 150m mark, checking both greyhounds.
A sample was taken from Bluey Can Fly - the winner of the event.
Tiger Minstrel was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. G. Buchanan, the Trainer of Tiger Mistrel regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start. Mrs. Buchanan stated that the greyhound was having it's first start and is a very keen railer in trials. Stewards noted Mrs. Buchanan's explantation and issued the greyhound with a warning regarding it's racing manners on this occasion.
Stewards noted that the seal number for this event was recorded incorrectly on the kennel bay security and seal record sheet.
