Candy Rose was slow to begin. Ebb crossed to the outside soon after the start. Trumpeter and Timeless Rose collided soon after the start. Dr. Marshmellow and Timeless Rose collided several times in the back straight checking Timeless Rose. Baudelaire checked off El Tigera approaching the second turn severely checking Dr. Noely; Dr. Noely stumbled and lost ground as a result. Baudelaire crossed to the outside entering the home straight checking Candy Rose. Dr. Noely and Trumpeter collided in the home straight.
