Mr. J. Musselwhite, representative of Magic Myer declared a new weight of 29.7kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Magic Myer last raced at 28.5kgs.
Haristotle and Fairy Where collided soon after the start. Poison Pen, Take Home Sadie, Issy Keats and Five Lights collided approaching the first turn checking Take Home Sadie and Bandit Brad. Poison Pen, Magic Myer and Haristotle collided on the first turn severely checking Poison Pen, Fairy Where, Take Home Sadie and Issy Keats; Issy Keats fell as a result. Bandit Brad checked off Magic Myer entering the home straight and clipped the heels of Haristotle as a result.
Issy Keats was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
