Buster Norris was slow to begin. Miss Fagan, Zipping Galon and Splinter collided soon after the start. Dakora faltered on the first turn, checking Big Black John, Dyna Martha and Buster Norris, and severely checking Dyna Bella which fell, Dakora pulled up. Dyna Martha, Miss Fagan and Buster Norris collided on the home turn, checking all three greyhounds. Dyna Martha failed to pursue the lure with due commitment entering the home straight and collided with Miss Fagan as a result.

Dyna Bella was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left deltoid and right pencil, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Dakora was vetted and after being re-vetted following event three, it was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left deltoid and left shoulder, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Collins, the handler of the greyhound Dyna Martha regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight.  Dyna Martha was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both pencil muscles, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Dyna Martha with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Collins pleaded guilty to the charge, Dyna Martha was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 2 minutes to allow the judges to make an adjustment to the computer.

Rockin' Joe was slow to begin and stumbled soon after the start. King Of Merrimu crossed to the rail soon after the start. Mossy Girl, Dashing Dyson and Pocket Dial collided on the first turn, checking Dashing Dyson, Mossy Girl, Keisha's Boy and Print The Cheque. Mossy Girl contacted the running rail approaching the second turn. Print The Cheque checked off Dashing Dyson on the second turn, checking Keisha's Boy. Rockin' Joe raced wide on the home turn.

Mossy Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Dyna Gabba was slow to begin. Atlantic Rose and County Crossing collided soon after the start. Raweenie, Uprising and Fawn Illusion collided soon after the start, checking Raweenie. Dyna Gabba and Raweenie collided on the first turn, checking Raweenie. Dyna Gabba and Fawn Illusion collided on the first turn. 

Mira's Potion was slow to begin. Ledgerwood Road, Dyna Xerox, Sterling Archer and Mick's Advice collided soon after the start. Glengarrie Son crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Jemma's Fantasy and Sterling Archer, and severely checking Ledgerwood Road, Dyna Xerox and Mick's Advice. Come Home and Mira's Potion collided approaching the home turn. 

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Zipping Maisy and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 5.12pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. S. Collins was fined the sum of $100.

Racketeer, Telefork and Broken Axle were slow to begin. Bomber's Return and Con Rod collided approaching the first turn, checking Bomber's Return. Iceni Skye and Bomber's Return collided on the first turn. Racketeer and Con Rod collided approaching the home turn, checking Con Rod. Con Rod and Broken Axle collided approaching the home turn, checking Broken Axle. Bomber's Return checked off Telefork entering the home straight.

Fleur Delacour crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Hot Tip, Borough Black, Paxton Bale, Mepunga Debbie, Precious Destini and Rixy Ya Pest. Hot Tip, I'm A Princess and Paxton Bale collided entering the back straight, checking I'm A Princess and Paxton Bale. Paxton Bale and Mepunga Debbie collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Paxton Bale, which fell, severely checking Rixy Ya Pest as a result. 

Paxton Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both shoulders and both pencil muscles, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Jakesta was slow to begin. Cloud Cover, Blue Vegas and Impala collided soon after the start. Spring Bomber checked off Undisputed soon after the start. Chum's Special, Undisputed and Jakesta collided on the first turn, checking Jakesta, Cloud Cover, Chum's Special and Impala. Cloud Clover and Impala collided on the home turn.

Fernando Drums and Summer Skye were slow to begin. Tiggerlong Boo and Dyna Nancy collided soon after the start, checking Dyna Nancy. Dyna Denver was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both pencil muscles and both hind paws, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Collins, the handler of Dyna Hunter regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Dyna Hunter last raced on 18th January, 2018.  Mr. Collins stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right shoulder injury. 

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Dyna Hunter, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Destini Firefox was slow to begin and crossed to the outside soon after the start. Vee Bee Mate, Dyna Penny and Bomber's Baby collided on the first turn, checking Dyna Penny. Azure Dragon checked off Unexplainable on the first turn. Bomber's Baby checked off Unexplainable approaching the home turn, checking Dyna Penny. Bomber's Baby checked off Vee Bee Mate in the home straight. Destini Firefox and Sky Flix raced wide in the home straight.

Bobby Tokaam was slow to begin. Blackpool Doc galloped on the heels of Bomber Marlow on the first turn, checking Tiggerlong Zorro, and severely checking Bomber Marlow and Blackpool Doc.
