Buster Norris was slow to begin. Miss Fagan, Zipping Galon and Splinter collided soon after the start. Dakora faltered on the first turn, checking Big Black John, Dyna Martha and Buster Norris, and severely checking Dyna Bella which fell, Dakora pulled up. Dyna Martha, Miss Fagan and Buster Norris collided on the home turn, checking all three greyhounds. Dyna Martha failed to pursue the lure with due commitment entering the home straight and collided with Miss Fagan as a result.

Dyna Bella was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left deltoid and right pencil, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Dakora was vetted and after being re-vetted following event three, it was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left deltoid and left shoulder, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Collins, the handler of the greyhound Dyna Martha regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight.  Dyna Martha was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both pencil muscles, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Dyna Martha with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Collins pleaded guilty to the charge, Dyna Martha was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.
