Lady Mikado and Jacqui Shoshone were quick to begin. Little Bala was slow to begin. Little Bala was checked off Dyna Quarter on the first turn. Lady Mikado, Jacqui Shoshone and Canya Wilber collided on the first turn checking Canya Wilber and severely checking Jacqui Shoshone and So Apparent, So Apparent stumbled and lost ground checking Dyna Quarter and Little Bala. Little Bala and So Apparent collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight. Canya Wilber tired over the concluding stages of the event.
