Koitsenko, Challis Sprite and Trinity Kid were slow to begin.
Kiowa Kaema and Buckle Up York collided approaching the first turn checking Buckle Up York. Koitsenko, Trinity Kid and Iggy Wiggy collided on the first turn checking Trinity Kid and Iggy Wiggy. Koitsenko and Iggy Wiggy collided approaching the home turn. Lamington Lass and Brindle Ninja collided approaching the home turn. Lamington Lass, Brindle Ninja and Kiowa Kaema collided on the home turn severely checking Brindle Ninja. Buckle Up York, Koitsenko and Kiowa Kaema collided in the home straight checking Koitsenko. Buckle Up York and Lamington Lass collided several times in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
