A sample was taken from Gordette - the winner of the event.
Cloverlay, which performed below market expectations, was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
When questioned regarding the performance of Cloverlay, trainer Mr. L. Rowe advised stewards that in his opinion the greyhound was not suited by the increased distance and grade of tonight's event. Stewards noted the explanation.
