A pre race sample was taken from I'm A Princess.
Celestial Folk, Good Luck Mick and McIvor Verna were slow to begin. McIvor Verna checked off Hit The Highway soon after the start. Good Luck Mick raced wide approaching the first turn. Gateway To Eden and Royal Intention collided on the first turn and again on the second turn. Celestial Folk raced wide entering the front straight. Gateway To Eden and Royal Intention collided entering the front straight. I'm A Princess checked off Gateway To Eden on the third turn. Gateway To Eden tired over the concluding stages.
Gateway To Eden was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right pencil muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
