Hardaway Kate, Cosmic Don and Charlotte Allen collided soon after the start, checking Cosmic Don and Hardaway Kate. Starbright Madie and Hardaway Kate collided on the first turn, checking Starbright Madie. Just Curious and Dahlhaus collided entering the back straight. Hardaway Kate clipped the heels of Just Curious in the back straight causing Hardaway Kate to fall, severely checking Starbright Madie. Why Not Kylie and Flash Apollo collided on the second turn, checking Why Not Kylie.
