Winnie Allen and Poppy Pete were quick to begin. Quartz Vein and John John Lava were slow to begin.
Dyna Danna and Zambora Idol collided soon after the start. Dyna Danna checked off Zambora Idol approaching the first turn. John John Lava galloped on Dyna Danna on the first turn. Poppy Pete and Dyna Dean collided several times on the second turn. Quartz Vein and Dyna Danna collided several times on the second turn.
