Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Duniam trainer of Nurse Fearing regarding the length of time the greyhound had between races. Nurse Fearing last raced on 8th October, 2017.  Mr. Duniam stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being on season.

Double Sensation, Turn Him Around and Aston Liesel were quick to begin. Mahoney Miss checked off Talanjee Chief approaching the first turn. Talanjee Chief checked off Double Sensation on the first turn. Talanjee Chief and Pius Thicknesse collided on the first turn, checking Talanjee Chief. Mahoney Miss checked off Double Sensation on the home turn, checking Talanjee Chief. Lilly An' Page and Aston Liesel collided in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Ms. D. Goudge, the trainer of the greyhound Lilly An' Page regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Lilly An' Page was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Lilly An' Page with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms. Goudge pleaded guilty to the charge, Lilly An' Page was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Nick was a late scratching at 6.19pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Hagrid Grange was slow to begin. St. Pauli, Mini Diva and Inga Tom collided soon after the start. St. Pauli and Inga Tom collided on the home turn. 

Mr. M. Lowe, trainer of Hashtag Johnny declared a new weight of 28.7kg  for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Hashtag Johnny last raced at 30.6kg.

A pre race sample was taken from Indi's Fancy.

Nitro Value was slow to begin. Dyna Ianto, Nitro Value and Bloke's Advice collided soon after the start. Nitro Value checked off Bloke's Advice soon after the start. Hashtag Johnny and Rancette collided approaching the first turn, checking Hashtag Johnny. Hashtag Johnny and Dyna Ianto collided on the first turn, checking Hashtag Johnny. Indi's Fancy raced wide on the home turn. Dyna Ianto and Nitro Value collided on the home turn. Nitro Value checked off Dyna Ianto in the home straight.

Indi's Fancy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left wrist, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Kalani Willow was quick to begin. Double Explosion was slow to begin and raced wide approaching the first turn. Arizona and Don's Just Under collided approaching the first turn, checking Arizona. Arizona, Don's Just Under, Haddi Bale and Inga Ted collided on the first turn, checking Arizona. Inga Ted checked off Haddi Bale approaching the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Brook regarding the direction that the greyhound Trium be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

Like A Dyson was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Topaz Warrior and Sacred Miss were slow to begin. Parvati Grange was very slow to begin (3 Lenghts). Hard Knocks and Princess Parker collided approaching the first turn, checking Hard Knocks.
