Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr P.Frost, the trainer of Miss Malaysia regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Miss Malaysia last raced on 5 August, 2017. Mr Frost stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a change of kennels.
Miss Malaysia and Badelaide Road collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Nellie Shan, Dundas Dave and Badelaide Road collided on the first turn checking Dundas Dave and Badelaide Road. Fairly Legal checked off Stella Story entering the back straight. Miss Malaysia checked off Nellie Shan on the second turn. Miss Malaysia was held up for a run behind Nellie Shan on the home turn. Fairly Legal and Nellie Shan collided entering the home straight.
Bakali Louis was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right fore foot. No stand down period was imposed.
Dundas Dave was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
