Pharoah's Dream was quick to begin. None So Special and Communique were slow to begin. Double Date, None So Special and All Inn Guning collided soon after the start checking All Inn Guning. None So Special and Communique collided on the first turn and approaching the home turn. Pharaoh's Dream and None So Special raced wide in the home straight. None So Special was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left back. A stand down period of 60 days was imposed.
None So Special was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a grade 2 tear to the left back muscle. A stand down of 60 days was imposed. Trainer Mr M.Pell, was advised that he must seek follow up veterinary treatment for the greyhound next day, as advised by the on course veterinarian.
All Inn Guning was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left rear foot. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Thompson, the handler of the greyhound All Inn Guning. Stewards deemed the performance of All Inn Guning unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that All Inn Guning must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
