Steward's Report
Yaala was quick to begin. Beksun and Soeztoc were slow to begin. Yaala crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Gold Attraction, Soeztoc and Gidgee's Boss. Zambora Russ raced wide to the first turn. Gold Attraction, Soeztoc and Zambora Russ collided approaching the home turn checking Soeztoc and Zambora Russ. Swift Fozz faltered approaching the home turn, lost considerable ground and failed to finish. Soeztoc and Zambora Russ collided entering the home straight. Zambora Russ raced wide in the home straight.
Swift Fozz was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock. A stand down period of 90 days was imposed. Trainer Mr N.Mason, was advised that he must seek follow up veterinary treatment for the greyhound next day, as advised by the on course veterinarian.
Following the event Stewards inspected the track and deemed it safe for racing.
