Berridale Buddie and Ima Ebay collided soon after the start and again on the first turn, checking Ima Ebay which lost ground and tailed off.
Fab Dream and Waikiki Creek collided on the first turn. Hey Hey Fozz and Cullquin Frank collided in the back straight. Cullquin Frank raced wide to the second turn. Berridale Buddie and Hey Hey Fozz collided on the second turn. Berridale Buddie, Hey Hey Fozz and Fab Dream collided on the home turn. Fab Dream and Cullquin Frank raced wide in the home straight.
