Mr. W. Green trainer of Tron's Empire declared a new weight of 32.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Tron's Empire last raced at 30.7kg.
A pre-race sample was taken from Gotta Cheer Up.
Tron's Empire, Mini Dozer and Two Mississippi collided soon after the start, checking Mini Dozer. Kev's Choice and Two Mississippi collided at the 250m mark. All Inn Hunter raced wide from the 200m mark through to the conclusion of the event. Kev's Choice and Tron's Empire collided approaching the winning post.
Gotta Cheer Up was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right hind toes and metatarsals. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.
