Steward's Report
No Guarantees was quick to begin. Special Member, Bossino and Two Toes Tony collided approaching the first turn. Fiery Miss was checked off Barney Boloney on the first turn. Special Member and Bossino collided approaching the second turn. Two Toes Tony marred Fiery Miss on the second turn severely checking Fiery Miss which raced wide. Special Member was checked off Zipping Tina on the home turn.
Two Toes Tony was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to both hind feet and left stifle, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Bean the trainer of the greyhound Two Toes Tony regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the second turn. Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Two Toes Tony with marring. Mr. Bean pleaded guilty to the charge, Two Toes Tony was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
