Ridgy Boy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a tail injury, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr D. Willcocks, trainer of Silvagni Cubed declared a new weight of 30.8kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Silvagni Cubed last raced at 32.2kgs.

Britz and Doran's Call were slow to begin.

Tallinn Power and Doran's Ash collided soon after the start.  Silvagni Cubed and Tippa Power collided approaching the first turn with Silvagni Cubed lost ground as a result.  Britz and Doran's Ash collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Silvagni Cubed and Tallinn Power collided on the first turn.  Silvagni Cubed and Doran's Ash collided several times from approaching the home turn to on the home turn.  Emerley Mee Too raced wide entering the home straight.  Tippa Power and Delta Bad hand collided entering the home straight.

Flowering Rose was a late scratching at 5.55pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Aladdin Prince.

Razorback Black was slow to begin.

Sooky Jooky and Buckle Up York collided soon after the start.  Sooky Jooky checked off Aladdin Prince on the first turn and collided with Razorback Black and Elram Girl checking Razorback Black and severely checking Elram Girl.

Iona Michelle was a late scratching at 1.53pm due to Illness-Diarrhoea (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Allen Zero and Temujin were slow to begin.

Shades Of Lippy and Matthew Terrence collided on the first turn.  Why Not Dawn raced wide in the back straight and again in the home straight.

All About Corey was very slow to begin (4 lengths).

Mister Heeney and Flying Danger collided soon after the start.  Mister Heeney and Light The Track collided on the first turn.  Miss Hanna Berry, Mister Heeney, Flying Danger and Totally Fab raced wide in the back straight.  Miss Hanna Berry raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr I. Dann, the trainer of Brandeen Plugger regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Brandeen Plugger last raced on 7th May 2017. Mr Dann stated that the greyhound was returning after a change of kennels.

Our Gal Livy was quick to begin.  Brandeen Plugger was slow to begin.

Pink Floyd, Brandeen Plugger and Gotham Queen collided soon after the start.  Ishmy Girl and Pink Floyd collided approaching the first turn checking Pink Floyd.  Gaza's Rooster, Ishmy Girl and Poppy Pete collided on the first turn.  Pink Floyd and Ishmy Girl collided approaching the second turn.  Our Gal Livy checked off My Alibi in the back straight.  Our Gal Livy and Poppy Pete collided on the third turn checking Our Gal Livy, Brandeen Plugger, Ishmy Girl and severely checking Pink Floyd and Gaza's Rooster, Gaza's Rooster faltered and pulled up as a result.  Our Gal Livy and Ishmy Girl collided several times from approaching the home turn to entering the home straight.

Gaza's Rooster was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right scapula fracture, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Emily's Kitty was quick to begin.

Tai Chi Mini and Pacific Impulse collided approaching the first turn.  Miss Dozer and Pacific Impulse collided on the first turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from She's Dee Rocket.

Calabrese magic and She's Dee Rocket were quick to begin.

Pacific Secret and Jimmy Vella collided soon after the start.  Pacific Secret, Jimmy Vella and Le Sands collided on the first turn checking Jimmy Vella and severely checking Pacific Secret.  Rahni and She's Dee Rocket collided entering the home straight.  Jimmy Vella raced wide in the home straight.

Judges incorrectly semaphored the wrong numbers 5-7-3-8 and was corrected immediately to 5-7-3-6 and the all clear was given.

Adam Handler, Why Not Jojo and Penny Worth collided soon after the start.  One Cup Short and Adam Handler collided approaching the first turn.  Iconic Rock and Penny Worth collided entering the home straight.  Thunder Of Night raced wide in the home straight.

Lady Alliance and Burnsy's Sam were quick to begin.

Good Odds Jet and Burnsy's Sam collided on the first turn.  Queen Dunroaming and Showin' Attitude collided on the first turn.  Fleur De Rose checked off Queen Dunroaming approaching the home turn.  queen Dunroaming brushed the running rail on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to the trainer/handler of Showin' Attitude Ms K. Houlahan regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound. Stewards noted that the greyhound was already on a box first however Ms Houlahan was unable to box Showin' Attitude for this event and the starter subsequently boxed the greyhound. Stewards advised Ms Houlahan that she is required to find a suitable handler (GAR 45).

Stewards spoke to Mr D. Chapman, the trainer of Who's My Daddy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Who's My Daddy last raced on 11th May 2017. Mr Chapman stated that the greyhound was returning from a left hock injury. Mr Chapman also declared a new weight for Who's My Daddy of 34.1kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Who's My Daddy last raced at 32.2kgs.

Rhyan;s Return and Trov's Gem were quick to begin.

Senni Richard and Coolan Man collided soon after the start.  Birkenhead and Coolan Man collided approaching the first turn.  Senni Richard and Rhyan's Return collided on the first turn.  Birkenhead and Coolan Man collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Premo Potion checked off Rhyan's Return in the home straight.

Satisfactory Weight Trial (Solo) - Why Not Senor trialled over the 311mtrs from box 5, weight 36.2kgs. The time of the trial was 18.10, Why Not Senor was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Bee Rose trialled over the 311mtrs from box 8, weight 28.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.05, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4 lengths. Bee Rose was Cleared.
