Stewards spoke to trainer's representative K. Kelly regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Rapana. Stewards directed that Rapana be boxed first in future events.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Jazz Me Blues trialled over the 400m from box one, weight 32.6kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.40, the greyhound won by a margin of 2.25L. Jazz Me Blues was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Jason Sharp, the trainer of Varuchi Pass, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Varuchi Pass last raced on 22 February 2017. Mr Sharp stated that Varuchi Pass had an injured right wrist. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Varuchi Pass trialled over the 400m from box three, weight 32.9kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.40, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2.25L. Varuchi Pass was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Argus Filch trialled over the 400m from box five, weight 32.5kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.40, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4L. Argus Filch was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Proven Brave trialled over the 400m from box eight, weight 24.7kg, the greyhound did not finish the trial. The time of the trial was 22.40. Proven Brave was not cleared.

Satisfactory Weight Trial (Solo) - Another Blue trialled over the 400m from box one, weight 31.3kg. The time of the trial was 22.74, Another Blue was cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Watch Me Wyn trialled over the 460m from box five, weight 27.6kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four. The time of the trial was 26.28, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 12.25L. Watch Me Wyn was cleared.
