Steward's Report
Hedonistic was slow to begin. Just Won Lotto was very slow to begin (3.5 lengths). Double The Power and Keeping Gracie collided approaching the first turn checking Keeping Gracie. Just Won Lotto, Keeping Gracie and Hedonistic collided on the first turn severely checking Keeping Gracie. Pinky Tuscadero checked off Double The Power approaching the home turn. Hedonistic checked off Pinky Tuscadero approaching the home turn and stumbled as a result.
Keeping Gracie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hamstring. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Faulknall, the trainer of the greyhound Keeping Gracie. Stewards deemed the performance of Keeping Gracie unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Keeping Gracie must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
