Keeping Gracie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hamstring.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Faulknall, the trainer of the greyhound Keeping Gracie.  Stewards deemed the performance of Keeping Gracie unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Keeping Gracie must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Bombastic Trixie was slow to begin.  Golden Gloves, Where's Lachie and Bags Of Bucks collided soon after the start checking Bags Of Bucks and Bombastic Trixie.  Zipping Nessy crossed in on the first turn checking Golden Gloves, Where's Lachie and Potere.  Bags Of Bucks and Bombastic Trixie collided on the first turn severely checking Bags Of Bucks.  Where's Lachie and Potere collided approaching the home turn.  Misload and Zipping Nessy collided approaching the home turn checking Misload.  Misload and Potere collided on the home turn.

Catcha Nugget, Grand Devinci and Sale Graze Chloe were slow to begin.  Catcha Nugget and Grand Devinci collided soon after the start.  Sure Load and Mother Monster collided soon after the start.  Catcha Nugget, Grand Devinci and Sale Graze Chloe collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn causing Catcha Nugget to contact the running rail and lose considerable ground checking Grand Devinci.  Magic Flora and Sure Load collided on the first turn checking Sure Load.  Magic Flora and Mother Monster collided several times approaching the home turn checking Magic Flora.  Sure Load crossed to the outside on the home turn causing Sale Graze Chloe to race wide.

Our Delta Rose was quick to begin.  Ninetymile Lenny was slow to begin.  Raise The Bet, Khaleesi Girl and Perrie The Fairy collided soon after the start.  Our Mojo, Lottie Biscotti, Nando's Thunder and Perrie The Fairy collided on the first turn checking Lottie Biscotti and Our Delta Rose.  Our Mojo and Nando's Thunder collided on the first turn severely checking Khaleesi Girl and Raise The Bet.  Nando's Thunder checked off Ninetymile Lenny approaching the home turn.

Hot Tip was a late scratching at 5:13pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Sale Graze Bindi and Pacific Power were slow to begin.  San Tan Sonny crossed in soon after the start checking Sale Graze Bindi and Pacific Power.  Pacific Power and Faithful Hill collided on the first turn.  Pacific Power and Kate's Intention collided on the first turn causing Pacific Power to race wide.  Light The Track and Shae's Intention collided on the third turn checking San Tan Sonny.  Light The Track checked off Shae's Intention approaching the home turn causing Sale Graze Bindi to check off Light The Track.

Kate's Intention was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right pencil muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Loaded and Welshman were slow to begin.  Loaded and Scooby Boy collided soon after the start.  Scooby Boy checked off Owen Banks on the first turn checking Loaded and Welshman.  Full Moon and Love A Neveelk collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn.  Just Blacky and Invictus Ester collided approaching the home turn.  Love A Neveelk and Owen Banks collided approaching the home turn.  Welshman contacted the running rail approaching the home turn.  Love A Neveelk raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Watson, the trainer of the greyhound Angry Alley regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Angry Alley last raced on 26th July, 2017.  Mr. Watson stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being on season.

Zambora Jagger and Daisy Patch collided soon after the start checking Zambora Jagger.  Tub's Tiger, Rack Tap Rack and Dava Supreme collided approaching the first turn checking Rack Tap Rack.  Tub's Tiger, Dava Supreme and Porscha's Girl collided on the first turn checking Tub's Tiger and Dava Supreme.  Rack Tap Rack and Lakeview Miss collided on the first turn severely checking Rack Tap Rack.  Zambora Jagger and Daisy Patch collided on the first turn checking Zambora Jagger.  Tub's Tiger, Dava Supreme and Lakeview Miss collided on the first turn checking Tub's Tiger and Daisy Patch, severely checking Dava Supreme.  Zambora Jagger galloped on Dava Supreme as a result and stumbled; Dava Supreme subsequently fell.  Porscha's Girl eased approaching the home turn.

Dava Supreme was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained left triceps and pencil muscle injuries, a 14 day stand down period was imposed

Stewards spoke to Mrs C. Cortese, the representative of the greyhound Porscha's Girl regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn.  Porscha's Girl was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions on both hind legs.  No stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Porscha's Girl with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mrs. Cortese pleaded guilty to the charge, Porscha's Girl was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future  nomination will be accepted.

Mr. O. McGovern, trainer of Marlow's Express declared a new weight of 29.2kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Marlow's Express last raced at 27.6kgs.

Master Mordecai, Woofenden and Hello Nimble collided approaching the first turn checking Woofenden and Benny's Legend;  Benny's Legend stumbled as a result.  Woofenden, Hello Nimble and Spazzy Blue collided on the first turn checking Benny's Legend;  Benny's Legend contacted the running rail and lost considerable ground.  Master Mordecai and Marlow's Express collided on the first turn checking Master  Mordecai.

Benny's Legend was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
