Steward's Report
Leica Diva, Oriental Tarj and Voluptuous Cleo were slow to begin.
Shimmy Dat Ray galloped on Fantasy Blaze approaching the first turn checking Fantasy Blaze. Fantasy Blaze galloped on Speedway Chick on the first turn severely checking Oriental Tarj, Speedway Chick and checking Fantasy Blaze and Voluptuous Cleo. La Tiana and Shimmy Dat Ray collided on the first turn checking La Tiana. Leica Diva galloped on Fantasy Blaze on the first turn severely checking Fantasy Blaze. Shimmy Dat Ray raced wide on the home turn. Shimmy Dat Ray, Leica Diva and Hurricane Craig collided several times in the home straight. Shimmy Dat Ray and Leica Diva collided approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.
Lecia Diva was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Booker, trainer of Leica Diva regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. After viewing all available footage Stewards were satisfied that the collision with Shimmy Dat Ray caused Leica Diva to become unbalanced and as such took no further action.
