Speedway Lass was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left calf and hamstring injuries, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Spin The Trolley was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left foreleg, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Leica Diva, Oriental Tarj and Voluptuous Cleo were slow to begin.

Shimmy Dat Ray galloped on Fantasy Blaze approaching the first turn checking Fantasy Blaze.  Fantasy Blaze galloped on Speedway Chick on the first turn severely checking Oriental Tarj, Speedway Chick and checking Fantasy Blaze and Voluptuous Cleo.  La Tiana and Shimmy Dat Ray collided on the first turn checking La Tiana.  Leica Diva galloped on Fantasy Blaze on the first turn severely checking Fantasy Blaze.  Shimmy Dat Ray raced wide on the home turn.  Shimmy Dat Ray, Leica Diva and Hurricane Craig collided several times in the home straight.  Shimmy Dat Ray and Leica Diva collided approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.

Lecia Diva was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Booker, trainer of Leica Diva regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. After viewing all available footage Stewards were satisfied that the collision with Shimmy Dat Ray caused Leica Diva to become unbalanced and as such took no further action.

A sample was taken from La Tiana - winner of the event.

Mr M. Grima, trainer of Blue Regis declared a new weight of 33.5kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Blue Regis last raced at 35.3kgs.

Mr L. Fulford, trainer of Shiro declared a new weight of 36.2kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Shiro last raced at 38.2kgs.

Stewards spoke to Mrs J. Belsham, the owner of Emperor Cruz regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Emperor Cruz last raced on 21st September 2017. Mrs Belsham stated that the greyhound was returning from a spell.

Porscha's Girl was quick to begin.  Jetmag Storm was slow to begin.

Boopa Doop Girl and Simply Mystic collided soon after the start.  Ends Well, Adala Prince and Emperor Cruz collided soon after the start.  Jetmag Storm, Ends Well, Adala Prince and Simply Mystic collided on the first turn checking Ends Well.  Pistol and Boopa Doop Girl collided entering the home straight checking Pistol.

Our Karzon was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist sprain, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Emilia Magic, Heza Gem, Sazana and Claretoen Happy collided soon after the start.  Aladdin Prince and Lorna Olive collided on the first turn.  Emilia Magic and Sazana collided approaching the second turn checking Always Alone and severely checking Emilia Magic, Emilia Magic fell and tailed off.  Lorna Olive and Heza Gem collided in the home straight.

Emilia Magic was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left deltoid injury and a spike wound to the right hind calf and hock, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Always Alone was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left calf, right back muscle injuries and an bruising to the left calf, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mood Swings were slow to begin.

Macauliff and Big Skeeta collided on the first turn checking Big Skeeta which stumbled and lost ground.  Macauliff, Mood Swings, Big Skeeta and Sooky Jooky raced wide in the home straight.

Big Skeeta was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right sesamoid injury and an abrasion to the left metacarpal, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mrs L. Hall, the trainer of It Gets Better regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  It Gets Better last raced on 24th September 2017. Mrs Hall stated that the greyhound was returning from a spell. Pursuant to GAR 77A, It Gets Better trialled over the 400mtrs from box 1, weight 28.8kgs, the greyhound was placed 6th in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 22.86, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 16 3/4 lengths. It Gets Better was Not Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr E. Lieshout, the trainer of Custom Mint regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Custom Mint last raced on 27th May 2017. Mr Lieshout stated that the greyhound had a change of kennels and a spell.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Custom Mint trialled over the 400mtrs from box 2, weight 30.5kgs, the greyhound was placed 5th in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 22.86, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 16 lengths. Custom Mint was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr S. James, the trainer of Shadow Walker regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Shadow Walker last raced on 23rd March 2017. Mr James stated that the greyhound was returning from both wrist injuries and a spell.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Shadow Walker trialled over the 400mtrs from box 3, weight 32.2kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 22.86, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5 lengths. Shadow Walker was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Clyde's Classy trialled over the 400mtrs from box 5, weight 33.9kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 22.86, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 8 3/4 lengths. Clyde's Classy was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Creative Moves trialled over the 400mtrs from box 4, weight 30.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 22.86, the greyhound won by a margin of 5 lengths. Creative Moves Moves was Cleared.
