Daisy Me Rollin' checked off Deflection entering the front straight. Matty Mateusz and Renew collided on the second turn, checking Outshined. Go Maysie Go checked off Daisy Me Rollin' on the second turn, causing Go Maysie Go to lose ground and race wide. Zetella, Matty Mateusz and Renew collided approaching the third turn, checking Deflection. Matty Mateusz and Deflection collided on the third turn, checking Daisy Me Rollin'. A seven-day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Vanessa Watson in relation to the greyhounds racing manners rounding the turn out of the home straight. After taking evidence from Ms Watson, viewing the official replays and considering the veterinary report Stewards took no further action.
