Steward's Report
Nimble Foot, Dyna Bentley and Quick Defence were slow to begin. Quick Defence and Starbright Madie collided soon after the start. Starbright Madie and No More Sisco collided approaching the home turn. Nimble Foot checked off Dyna Bentley on the home turn, checking Starbright Madie. Dyna Bentley marred the running of Kiss Me Razley approaching the winning post.
Dyna Bentley was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hindleg fibula injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms Lisa Delbridge, the representative of the greyhound Dyna Bentley, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Dyna Bentley with marring. Ms Delbridge pleaded guilty to the charge, Dyna Bentley was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
