The announcement of "all clear" was delayed to allow the Stewards to review the race footage, due to the boxes only partially opening.  Stewards could not be satisfied that all greyhounds were afforded a fair start and subsequently declared the event a "no race" in accordance with GAR 56.  All greyhounds were inspected following the event, with Atlantic Rose, Avatar Maximus, Isla Maye and Modern Jagger being sent for veterinary examination.

Atlantic Rose was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the face.  No stand down period was imposed.

Avatar Maximus was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the face.  No stand down period was imposed.

Isla Maye was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the face, a three day stand down period was imposed.

Modern Jagger was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained laceration to the face, a three day stand down period was imposed.

Nimble Foot, Dyna Bentley and Quick Defence were slow to begin.  Quick Defence and Starbright Madie collided soon after the start.  Starbright Madie and No More Sisco collided approaching the home turn.  Nimble Foot checked off Dyna Bentley on the home turn, checking Starbright Madie.  Dyna Bentley marred the running of Kiss Me Razley approaching the winning post.

Dyna Bentley was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hindleg fibula injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms Lisa Delbridge, the representative of the greyhound Dyna Bentley, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Dyna Bentley with marring.  Ms Delbridge pleaded guilty to the charge, Dyna Bentley was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Silent Sandy and Insanus were quick to begin.  Ima Scholar was slow to begin.  Izzy Kymtony and Blackjack Cruise collided soon after the start, checking Izzy Kymtony.  High Water and Silent Sandy collided on the first turn, checking Silent Sandy.

Izzy Kymtony was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr Robert Tolson, the trainer of Izzy Kymtony, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in this event.

Sisco Bella, Sisco Yes and Avalon Sisco were quick to begin.  Sisco Bella, Sisco Yes and Sisco Dun collided approaching the first turn, checking Sisco Bella and Sisco Yes.  Lilly An' Page, Sisco Ride and Redcliff Rebel collided approaching the first turn.  Sisco Yes checked off Sisco Bella on the first turn.  Lilly An' Page checked off Redcliff Rebel on the home turn.  Lilly An' Page and Redcliff raced wide on the home turn.

Loroupe was quick to begin.  Zulu Fred and Carlanna Casey were slow to begin.  Xtreme Shine and Carlanna Casey collided soon after the start, checking Carlanna Casey.  Zulu Fred crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Carlanna Casey, checking Carlanna Casey and Dyna Nancy.  Dyna Nancy and Cloona Lass collided approaching the first turn, checking Cloona Lass.  Zulu Fred clipped the heels of Cool Al on the first turn, checking Zulu Fred and Cool Al which raced wide as a result.  Loroupe raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Chrissy Pee and Shining Opal were quick to begin.  Kraken Bolt was slow to begin.  Hold On Belena and Shining Opal collided approaching the first turn, checking Hold On Belena.  Hold On Belena and Kraken Bolt collided on the first turn, checking Hold On Belena.  Arcup Usain and Mia Brae collided on the first turn, checking Arcup Usain and Shining Opal, causing Shining Opal to race wide as a result.  Shining Opal and Kraken Bolt raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.  Shining Opal checked off Kraken Bolt entering the home straight.

Kiss Me Nicki and Pomp Fiction were quick to begin.  Oz Ten Tatious blundered at the start and lost ground.  Xtreme Gift, Solar Mocha and Full Of Boloney collided soon after the start.  Solar Mocha and Full Of Boloney collided approaching the first turn.  Xtreme Gift and Rockalot collided on the home turn.

Bella Express and Winterstein collided soon after the start, checking Winterstein.  Our Mate Wilson and Belisarius collided approaching the first turn.  Tiggerlong Cruz raced wide on the home turn.

Reign Of Omar, Lochie's Mate and Good Golly Wally were slow to begin.  Kaluah Rose and Spirited Bingle collided approaching the first turn.  Kaluah Rose galloped on Spirited Bingle on the first turn, checking Spirited Bingle and Under Sea, and severely checking Kaluah Rose.  Good Golly Wally, Kaluah Rose and Under Sea collided on the first turn, checking all three greyhounds.  Kiss Me Marday galloped on Spirited Bingle approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds.  Spirited Bingle checked off Lochie's Mate on the home turn.  Spirited Bingle and My Hardaway Hana collided approaching the winning post.

Good Golly Wally was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
