Steward's Report
The announcement of "all clear" was delayed to allow the Stewards to review the race footage, due to the boxes only partially opening. Stewards could not be satisfied that all greyhounds were afforded a fair start and subsequently declared the event a "no race" in accordance with GAR 56. All greyhounds were inspected following the event, with Atlantic Rose, Avatar Maximus, Isla Maye and Modern Jagger being sent for veterinary examination.
Atlantic Rose was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the face. No stand down period was imposed.
Avatar Maximus was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the face. No stand down period was imposed.
Isla Maye was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the face, a three day stand down period was imposed.
Modern Jagger was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained laceration to the face, a three day stand down period was imposed.
