Steward's Report
Track Curator, Mr. M. Coventry advised Stewards that the track was deeply harrowed on Friday 27th October.
This event was delayed by approximately 2 1/2 minutes to allow for a Pinjarra harness race to be completed.
Golden Romance and Slow As Thunder were quick to begin. Rocky Road was slow to begin. Brian's Last and Golden Romance collided soon after the start. Brian's Last and Sunlit Breaker collided soon after the start severely checking Sunlit Breaker which contacted the running rail as a result. Brian's Last and Golden Romance collided on the first turn. Charlee Louise and Rocky Road collided on the first turn. Sisco Yes faltered on the home turn and tailed off as a result. Charlee Louise and Rocky Road collided in the home straight. Golden Romance and Slow As Thunder collided in the home straight.
Sisco Yes was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right sartorius muscle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Sunlit Breaker was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the inside of its left hind leg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Charlee Louise was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to its left hind leg and an injury to its right sesamoid. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
