Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Saint Flynn.
Saint Flynn eased and raced wide approaching the first turn. Chezzy Allen, Paraphernalia and Barry Bomber collided on the first turn, checking Paraphernalia. Dead Eye Dickson checked off the heels of Paraphernalia on the home turn. Paraphernalia raced wide in the home straight.
Saint Flynn was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr Dustin Drew, the handler of the greyhound Saint Flynn regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the first turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Saint Flynn with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Drew pleaded guilty to the charge, Saint Flynn was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
