Ninetymile Hawk was a late scratching at 6:26pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a dislocated left front toe. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Setelia was quick to begin.  Totally Bullish and That James Boy were slow to begin.  Fernando's Dream and Fernando's Jewel collided soon after the start.  That James Boy raced wide on the home turn.

Magic Flora was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Dr. Noely and Blue Magoo were slow to begin.  So Easy and Bowon Approach collided soon after the start.  Liberty Tron and Loco Queen collided on the first turn.  So Easy and Dr. Tracey collided on the first turn.  Blue Magoo was checked off Dr. Tracey approaching the second turn causing, Blue Magoo to stumble.  Liberty Tron was checked off Loco Queen approaching the second turn.  Liberty Tron and Dr. Tracey collided on the second turn.  Dr. Noely and Loco Queen collided on the second turn.  Blue Magoo and So Easy collided on the second turn.  Bowon Approach was checked off Dr. Tracey in the back straight.  Liberty Tron and Blue Magoo collided approaching the winning post.

Stitch Gun Miss was quick to begin.  Our Echo Rose and Lucas Rose were slow to begin.  Go Wilma Go and Snoop A Loop collided on the first turn.  Valkyrie Rose and Lola Allen collided approaching the home turn.  Valkyrie Rose and Snoop A Loop collided approaching the home turn.  Our Echo Rose and Lola Allen collided in the home straight.

This race was rescheduled to 8:29pm due to minor track maintenance (refer to meeting comments).  Races 5-8 were re-scheduled as a result.

A pre-race sample was taken from Loaded.

Loaded was slow to begin.  Whiskey Rose and Trap Queen collided soon after the start.  Prince Stealth, Iona Michelle, Blue Cat Wombat and Hearts To Hearts collided entering the back straight checking Iona Michelle and Hearts To Hearts.  Trap Queen and Prince Stealth collided in the back straight.  Blue Cat Wombat was checked off Prince Stealth entering the home straight.

Loaded was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right wrist and right monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

This race was rescheduled to 8:46pm.

Blackjack Neo and High Tenacity were slow to begin.  Diesel Turbo was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  White Line Lass and Ruby's Image collided soon after the start.  New Lass, Ruby's Image and Blackjack Neo collided approaching the first turn.  White Line Lass and Ruby's Image collided on the first turn.  New Lass, Ruby's Image and Blackjack Neo collided on the first turn.  New Lass and Ruby's Image were checked off Blackjack Neo on the second turn checking New Lass and Ruby's Image.  Blackjack Neo and High Tenacity collided entering the back straight checking High Tenacity.  Blackjack Neo was checked off Hazelwood Flyer approaching the home turn.  Hazelwood Flyer and White Line Lass collided on the home turn.  Diesel Turbo and High Tenacity collided entering the home straight.

Wild Angel and Blocka Boy were slow to begin.  Tree Climber Liv, Dynamo Magic, Blocka Boy, Flywheel Magic and Brandeen Bayley collided on the first turn checking Tree Climber Liv, Blocka Boy and Flywheel Magic.  Brandeen Bayley raced wide on the home turn.  Tree Climber Liv and Blocka Boy collided enteirng the home straight checking Tree Climber Liv.

Gotcha Mate was a late scratching at 6:09pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Yvonne Andrews was fined the sum of $100.

Ninetymile Holly and Slick Maggie were quick to begin.  Shanlyn Percy and Captain Risky collided soon after the start.  Shanlyn Percy and Slick Maggie collided on the first turn checking Slick Maggie, Captain Risky and Pink Floyd.  Laurentide Ice and Captain Risky collided in the back straight checking both greyhounds.  Far Out Indian raced wide in the back straight.

Audacious Mickan, Daisy Patch and Sunset Believer were slow to begin.  Penny Lane Keats crossed in soon after the start checking Dr. Gammiris and Daisy Patch.  All About Arby and Penny Lane Keats collided entering the back straight checking Cookie Rose, All About Arby, Sunset Believer and Penny Lane Keats.  Audacious Mickan and Dr. Gammiris collided approaching the second turn checking Audacious Mickan which lost ground and subsequently collided with Sunset Believer checking Sunset Believer and severely checking Audacious Mickan.

Crooked Vulture and My Names Rhonda were quick to begin.  Augustus Dagloop was checked off My Names Rhonda soon after the start and collided with Elswyk Max and Milla Rose checking Elswyk Max.  Merchant Prince was checked off My Names Rhonda entering the back straight.  Augustus Dagloop and Milla Rose collided in the back straight checking Augustus Dagloop and Elswyk Max.  Augustus Dagloop and Elswyk Max collided approaching the second turn.

Magic Myer was slow to begin.  Luna Evening and Ellen's Stardust collided soon after the start.  Magic Myer was checked off Josie Rumble soon after the start checking Magic Myer.  Josie Rumble and Flowering Rose collided on the first turn checking Flowering Rose and Ellen's Stardust.  Snip Snap, Shanlyn Pippin and Half Moon Rising collided on the first turn.  Shanlyn Pippin was checked off Snip Snap approaching the home turn.  Snip Snap and Shanlyn Pippin collided in the home straight.

Our Miss Deena and Classy Gun were quick to begin.  Little Sunshine and Dr. Luvdisc were slow to begin.  Screaming Oaks was checked off Issy Keats on the home turn checking Screaming Oaks, Black Bindi and Dr. Luvdisc, Dr. Luvdisc raced wide as a result.  Fleur De Rose and Black Bindi collided approaching the winning post.

Meeting Conditions:

Stewards conducted a normal track inspection upon arrival on course and were advised by Track curator Mr. Andrew Inger that the track was deep harrowed on Wednesday 8 November 2017.

Following event 2 concerns were raised to Stewards by several Trainer's regarding the softness of the track surface directly in front of the 525m boxes. Stewards inspected the track and after consulting with the track curator and the on track veterinarian, Stewards deemed the track suitable to race for event 3 over the 315m. Following event 3 Stewards inspected the track surface in front of the 395m and the 525m boxes and after track staff carried out minor maintenance to the areas of concern, the surface was deemed suitable for racing.
