Steward's Report
Water Colour, Dr. Mino and Go Seek Fernando were quick to begin. Cloverlay and My Redeemer were slow to begin. My Redeemer and Dutch Legacy collided soon after the start. Water Colour, Deja Vu Rock and Payton collided soon after the start. Deja Vu Rock checked off Water Colour soon after the start. My Redeemer and Dutch Legacy collided approaching the first turn. Payton and Cloverlay collided several times on the first turn. Cloverlay galloped on the heels of Payton on the second turn. Cloverlay and My Redeemer collided on the second turn. My Redeemer galloped on the heels of Water Colour on the third turn. Dutch Legacy checked off My Redeemer on the third turn. My Redeemer and Dutch Legacy collided on the ome turn. Cloverlay tired in the home straight.
Samples were taken from placegetters - Dr. Mino (1st) and Go Seek Fernando (2nd).
Cloverlay was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained mild soreness to the left hip and a five day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr Glen Rounds advised that Cloverlay will now head to the provincial circuit, over the shorter distances as this trip is on her limit at this stage of her career.
