Sheza Dragon was quick to begin.  Sisco Knight was slow to begin.  Why Not Macca, Jack's On Deck and Rythym Taboo collided soon after the start.  Mask and Why Not Macca collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds and severely checking Jack's On Deck.  Sheza Dragon and Rythym Taboo collided several times in the back straight severely checking Sheza Dragon.  Sheza Dragon and Mask collided approaching the second turn checking Sheza Dragon.  Sheza Dragon and Why Not Macca collided on the home turn.  Rythym Taboo marred Lucas Rose in the home straight checking Lucas Rose.

Rythym Taboo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Chilcott the trainer of the greyhound Rythym Taboo regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Rythym Taboo with marring.  Mr. Chilcott pleaded guilty to the charge, Rythym Taboo was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Bliss Street was slow to begin.  Loadstar and Tiza Fabio collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Scrappy Doo and Tiza Fabio collided on the first turn checking Tiza Fabio and severely checking Loadstar, Bliss Street and Hazelwood Flyer were severely checked as a result causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Scrappy Doo was checked off Alexagal on the first turn.  Loadstar raced wide on the first turn.  Zipping Selma and Alexagal collided entering the home straight.  Zipping Selma crossed in approaching the winning post checking Alexagal.

Bliss Street was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Apila Moola was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right back muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Dr. Gammiris crossed out approaching the first turn checking Ultimate Conor and Tree Climber Liv.  Lemon Chicken and Dr. Gammiris collided on the first turn checking Dr. Gammiris.  Dr. Gammiris was checked off Lizzy Allen approaching the second turn.  Tree Climber Liv was checked off Ya Welcome approaching the home turn.  Dr. Gammiris and Ultimate Conor collided entering the home straight.  Dr. Gammiris was checked off Ultimate Conor approaching the winning post.

Royal Intention and Burning House were quick to begin.  Brandeen Peaches was slow to begin.  Kate's Intention and Midnight Marzy collided approaching the first turn.  Kate's Intention was checked off Fool Proof on the first turn.  Barroom Counsel was checked off Fool Proof entering the front straight.  Barroom Counsel and Midnight Marzy collided on the third turn.  Burning House and Fool Proof collided on the home turn.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 1 minute due to a Wayville harness event.

Reatily Shintaro and Far Out Indian collided soon after the start.  Miss Holland and Dr. Sherlock collided on the first turn checking Miss Holland.  Wilbur checked off Lady Beatrix on the first turn.  Lady Beatrix and Dr. Sherlock collided in the back straight.  Miss Holland and Reatily Shintaro collided on the home turn.  Gotham Queen raced wide on the home turn.

Crackerjack Sam was a late scratching at 1:37pm due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Spring Ace was slow to begin.  Dr. Cadenza and Bro Sam's Hook collided soon after the start checking Bro Sam's Hook.  Dr. Leonardo checked off Backin' Bully on the first turn.  Dr. Leonardo and Walk Woody Walk collided on the first turn.  Dr. Leonardo checked off Walk Woody Walk on the second turn and collided with Spring Ace.  Dr. Cadenza and Spring Ace collided approaching the third turn and again on the third turn checking Spring Ace.

Smitten was quick to begin.  Invictus Lawless and Happy Hamish collided soon after the start checking Happy Hamish.  Dr. Watson was checked off Joe's Dolly approaching the first turn.  Joe's Dolly was checked off Invictus Lawless approaching the third turn.  Dr. Melezar was checked off Invictus Lawless on the home turn.  Invictus Lawless and Joe's Dolly collided in the home straight.

Keely Allen was slow to begin.  Elswyk Max and Allen Optic colllided soon after the start checking Allen Optic.  Why Not Cory crossed in on the first turn checking Elswyk Max, Allen Optic, July Allen and Zipping Dash.  July Allen checked off Elswyk Max on the second turn.

Lektra Flame was vetted following the event by request of the handler.  It was reported that the greyhound was bloated on the left side due to ingestion of too much water post race, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Dukestar was quick to begin.  Eduardo Rose was slow to begin.  Dukestar crossed out soon after the start checking Gotcha Mate.  Dr. Luvdisc and Coco Marlow collided approaching the first turn checking Coco Marlow.  Cookie Rose and Lord Regnar collided on the first turn checking Lord Regnar.  Gotcha Mate and Dr. Luvdisc collided entering the back straight checking Dr. Luvdisc, Screaming Oaks and Eduardo Rose.  Dr. Luvdisc and Eduardo Rose collided in the back straight.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. P Terry, the trainer of King Kai regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. King Kai last raced 15 June 2017 and is returing to racing following a torn right triangle muscle.
