Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Clark, the trainer of El Mirage regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. El Mirage last raced on 30th July 2017. Mr. Clark stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a spell and also the greyhound had been on season.
A pre-race sample was taken from Bert's Special.
Astrology and Hillbilly Bubba collided soon after the start. On Billy's Wings, Maximum Bella, Bert's Special and Hillbilly Bubba collided approaching the first turn checking Maximum Bella which collided with El Mirage. On Billy's Wings and Moyarra Eclipse collided on the first turn. Bert's Special, Hillbilly Bubba and Astrology collided on the first turn checking Hillbilly Bubba and Astrology. Maximum Bella and Moyarra Eclipse collided entering the home straight. El Mirage and Maximum Bella collided in the home straight.
