Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Neville Vincent, the trainer of Mademoiselle Sox, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Mademoiselle Sox last raced on 14th June, 2017. Mr. Vincent stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an extended spell.
A pre-race sample was taken from Greenback Boogie.
Greenback Boogie and Mademoiselle Sox were quick to begin.
Mademoiselle Sox, Logistic Kid and Duff Bale collided approaching the first turn. Dynamic Couldron checked off Homer approaching the first turn.
Dynamic Couldron was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right long head triceps (monkey) muscle and split webbing on the left fore foot. A 14-day stand down period was imposed.
