Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr R. Whitford, the trainer of Bob's Cash regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Bob's Cash last raced on 26th June 2017.Mr Whitford stated that the greyhound was returning to racing due the trainer being suspended. Mr Whitford also declared a new weight for Bob's Cash of 34.3kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Bob's Gift last raced at 33.1kgs.
Stewards spoke to Mr R. Whitford, the trainer of So Easy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. So Easy last raced on 25th June 2017.Mr Whitford stated that the greyhound was returning to racing due the trainer being suspended. Mr Whitford also declared a new weight for So Easy of 34.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). So Easy last raced at 32.2kgs.
Bruree Belle was quick to begin. Flying Rose was slow to begin.
Mikey, News Print, Simple Tips and Bob's Cash collided soon after the start checking News Print. Mikey and Simple Tips collided approaching the first turn severely checking News Print. So Easy and Big Butterbean collided on the first turn. Bob's Cash and Big Butterbean collided on the home turn.
News Print was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
