A pre-race sample was taken from It's All Bolony upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Mrs M. Brown trainer of Call Me Waylan declared a new weight of 34.9kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Call Me Waylan last raced at 33.4kgs.
Mrs M. Brown trainer of On The Rebound declared a new weight of 31.9kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). On The Rebound last raced at 30.7kgs.
A pre-race sample was taken from Fiery Miss.
Fiery Miss was quick to begin. Jetmag Storm and Celtic Fire were slow to begin.
Jetmag Storm and On The Rebound collided on the first turn. It's All Bolony and Jetmag Storm collided in the home straight.
Celtic Fire was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hock and right triangle injuries, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
MEETING COMMENTS:
Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers Removed) - Nosey trialled over the 400mtrs from box 8, weight 35.2kgs, the greyhound was placed 1stin a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.66, the greyhound won by a margin of 11 1/2 lengths. Nosey was Cleared to Race without Blinkers.
