Sable Sass, Zambora Tyler, Saltbush Bill and Outshined were slow to begin.  Dyna Yezza, Carltonian and Lylah's Way collided approaching the first turn checking Carltonian.  Zambora Tyler and Saltbush Bill collided approaching the first turn checking Saltbush Bill.  Dyna Bitey, Dyna Yezza and Lylah's Way collided approaching the first turn checking Carltonian.  Zambora Tyler and Saltbush Bill collided approaching the first turn checking Saltbush Bill.  Dyna Bitey, Dyna Yezza and Lylah's Way collided on the first turn severely checking Dyna Yezza, Lylah's Way, Outshined, Carltonian and Saltbush Bill, Dyna Yezza, Outshined, Carltonian and Saltbush Bill fell as a result.  Zambora Tyler and Sable Sass collided approaching the third turn and again on the third turn.  Zambora Tyler and Sable Sass collided on the home turn.

Dyna Yezza was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right calf muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Carltonian was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Outshined was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Saltbush Bill was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to be dehydrated, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards directed a blood sample be taken from Saltbush Bill.

A sample was taken from Dyna Bitey - the winner of the event.

Leprechaun Storm was quick to begin.  Destini Fortress and Azkaban collided soon after the start.  Barry Bomber, Dyna Evelyn and Vancouver Star collided soon after the start severely checking Dyna Evelyn.  Destini Fortress and Azkaban collided on the first turn and again entering the front straight.  Destini Fortress and Azkaban collided on the second turn checking Azkaban.  Destini Fortress checked off Dyna Evelyn on the second turn checking Azkaban.

Fast Car Driving was slow to begin.  Out Of Range and Degani collided soon after the start.  Mossimo Bale and Dyna Wazza collided soon after the start.  Dyna Carnie and Fernando Express collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Mossimo Bale and Dyna Wazza collided approaching the first turn severely checking Mossimo Bale which collided with Immen Bale.  Dyna Carnie and Fernando Express collided several times from the first turn to approaching the second turn.  Mossimo Bale checked off Immen Bale approaching the second turn.  Dyna Carnie and Fernando Express collided on the second turn checking Fernando Express.

This event was delayed approximately 30 seconds due to greyhounds being late to arrive at the boxes.

Paradiso Lass was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right tarsal, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.
