Bro Sam's Hook was a late scratching at 6.02pm due to a weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, K Gorman, was fined the sum of $100.
Jeebus Bird and Mick's Angel collided approaching the first turn. Jeebus Bird and Iris Allen collided in the back straight. Ok Jake and Jeebus Bird collided approaching the fifth turn.
Mick's Angel was vetted following the event. It was reported hat the greyhound sustained injuries to the right and left back muscle and right hamstring, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
