To The Galo's was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left long head triceps (monkey) muscle. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Philip Smith, the trainer of the greyhound To The Galo's, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged To The Galo's with marring. Mr Smith pleaded guilty to the charge, To The Galo's was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Take The Cake was slow to begin.

Paxton Bale and Lizzy Allen collided soon after the start. Oakstar and Succession Plan collided soon after the start. Far Sighted was vetted and revetted following event eleven. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right gastrocnemius (calf) muscle. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.

Treasure Keeper was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a carpal sprain of the right wrist. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.

Tricky Trey was a late scratching at 7:29am due to an injury to the pad (GAR 23). A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Stately Kay checked off Midnight Flynn soon after the start. My Wrecker checked off Uncatchable soon after the start. Soda Storm checked off Uncatchable at the 300m mark. We Froff Dat and My Wrecker collided approaching the 250m mark.
